Phi Gamma Delta and the Untouchables are the 1961
IM basketball champions following impressive wins in the
finals last night in Rec Hall.
The Untouchables ripped Nittany 22, 57-38; while Phi
Cam had a harder time dOwning Delta Upsilon, 49-37.

DuMars in Draft

PITTSBURGH, Pa., March 20--
Penn State's Mark DuMars was
drafted yesterday by the Pitts
burgh team in the new American
Basketball League.
Lenny Litman, the general man
ager and owner of the Pittsburgh
entry, picked 26 players—many
from the tri-state •area.
Litman, also took Duquesne's
Bob Slobodnik and Ned Twyrnan;
!John Fridley and Dick Falenski
,of Pitt; and Lee Patrone of West
Virginia.
Pittsburgh's top three draft
choices were Torn Stith, an All-
American from St. Bonaventure;
Tony Jackson from St. Johns and
Jack Egan from St. Josephs.
Litman says he expects a price.

DuMars wound up his Penn
State career with 1139 points. The
1 5-10 playmaker was the second
leading scorer in Lion history and
captained the 1960-61 squad which
finished with an 11-13 record.

advance to the semi-finals in the
IM wrestling tourney.
Wilson's fall over Mitinger
came at 25 seconds of the third
period. Mitinger led, 4-3, after
the first period but Wilson, last
year's 176-pound champion, pulled
to an 8-4 lead before the pin.
In other action Beta Theta Pi's
176-pounder Dave Grubbs scored
a fall over John Schultz of DU in
25 seconds. Grubbs also advanced
to the semi-finals.

To Save Woman
BELLAIRE, Ohio (/P) Mrs.
Wilma Otis, 40, is in critical con
dition in Bellaire Hospital and if
she pulls through, she can thank
Lee Patrone, West Virginia's bas
ketball captain.
-Mrs. Otis jumped 90-feet from
a girder atop the Interstate Bridge
Sunday but Patrone, who was
passing by, leaped into the river
and towed her to 'safety despite
her resistance.

Orioles Hire Busby
MIAMI, Fla. (R) Jim Busby,
for 11 years one of the American
League's best centerfielders,
has been added to the coaching
staff of the Baltimore Orioles.
The 34-year-old Busby joins
Jimmie Adair, Harry (The Cat)
Brecheen and Luman Harris on
Manager Paul Richards' staff.
His main duties will include
outfield and base-running in
