FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9:1960 Senior Found Guilty, Fined On Disorderly Conduct A UniverSity student was found guilty of disorderly conduct and fined a total of $36.50 by State College Justice of the Peace Wil liam P. Bell yesterday. William G. Skillen, senior in mining engineering from Wash ington, Pa,, pleaded guilty to "taking a bicycle without the owner's permission and fleeing police officers." Bell said that "there has been entirely too much of this going on,'.' and that Skillen "is lucky not to have been charged with larceny." Arresting patrolman John Snedden said that he and another St ate College police officer stopped Skillen on Garner Street , for a routine check when they, saw him riding a bicycle late at night on Nov. 21. They asked him for his identification and were told he had "left it at home." .The young man was asked to go home with us and get his identification, but he drove the bicycle into a driveway and ran off," Snedden said.
