Den Trial Plan
Will Continue
The Lion's Den in the Hetzel
"Union Building will continue to
stay open until 11 p.m. Sundays
and weekdays on a trial basis
until Thanksgiving vacation.
Robert C. Proffitt, director of
food service, said that the later
hours which started at the be
ginning of the semester have been
extended to enable the food serv
ice to make a "reasonable and
feasible decision" on having per
manent late hours.
Proffitt said that the patronage
of the Lion's Den has fluctuated
too much to make a decision now.
During this extended time a care
ful check will be made on the
number of - students using the later
hours, he said.
AIM Passes--
(Continued from page one)
could not have a part in the En
campment because most of the
proposed workshops would not
pertain to Leonides.
In an executive council of Le
onides, Miss Hill said, it was de
cided that Leonides would' not
join with AIM in the proposed
Encampment.
After withdrawing a motion to
hold an Indic. Encampment and
to invite independent women.
AIM voted that the Indie Encamp
ment be postponed until the fu
ture of the AMR had been de
cided.

dith Weiss (U.-Jr.) who argued
that although Elections Commis
sion would be handling radio and
poster publicity this would not
prevent candidates from being
required to pay money to the par
ties for additional publicity.
Darran answered that some
line should be drawn.
Another field of debate opened
when Jacqueline Leavitt (U.-Sr.)
objected that the use of SGA.
funds for this publicity purpose
would mean using funds that
were meant for the majority of
students for the publicity of a
certain few.
Darran replied, "We are not,
giving money to individuals or
parties. We are using the money ;
for elections publicity."
