Dr. Walters Lions Hope to End Middie LaX Streak When the Lion lacrosse team meets Navy this afternoon ,at Annapolis they will be battling a jinx that dates back to 1919. That year the Midshipmen downed Penn State, 13-0, to start a streak that now stands at 29 consecutive wins. The closest State has come to a victory recently was in 195'7 when they dropped a 19-11 verdict. Last season Navy handed the Nittanies the worst drubbing in Penn State lacrosse history, 29-3 Navy always plays one of the strongest schedules in the nation and the Middies have copped the national championship six times.
