APRIL 1. 1960 14 Grapplers Score Pins in IM Action Larry Ottoson, -last year's 158-pound independent champ, pinned his man in 24 seconds last night in a 167-pound TM wrestling bout that had hardly begun before it was over. Ottoson's fall was only one of 14 in a full night, of grappling. Frank Skiddle of,Delta Upsilon, fraternity champ at 167 last year, threw Mark Sandson in 3:10 in the 177-pound class. Tau Kappa Epsilon's two hopefuls on last night's agenda both came through with falls. Phil Kreitner pinned John Reimer, Pi Lambda Phi, in 3 minutes flat. Ted }caller pinned Bill Brown, Tau hi Della, in 1:55. In one of the ost exciting matches of the vening, Jeff Lightner of Lamb a Chi Alpha hung on to defeat ale Steadman, Alpha Zeta, 3-0, alt ough held in a pinning combing ion by Stead man for the last 30 seconds of the match. Bob Degling, Pi Kappa Alpha, decisioned Emanual Orfanon of Phi Kappa Tau, 9.3, in a battle of 142-pounders. Degling, last year's runner-up in the inde pendent 142-pound class, used 3 take-downs, a reverse and an es cape to defeat Orfanon. Gene Retallic, a 128-pound Independent, piled up 12 points to beat Bob Donaldson, 12-5. Retallic had a near fall, an es cape, two reversals and two takedowns in the fast-moving match.
