FRIDAY, MARCH 4, 1960 UCA Conference Opens On Missionary Work Missionary work in the world today is the theme of a conference on "Christian Frontiers Overseas" to be sponsored this weekend by the University Christian Association. Rev. Louis Grier of Osaka, Japan, will speak on "Why Christian Missions in Today's World?" at 8 tonight in the chapel lounge. The alternate questions of, whether Christian churches should be evangelistic or should -provid: technical as sistance will also u e discussed by Grier. Fifteen overseas church leaders and eight University faculty members will conduct eight semi nars at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel. These seminars will describe by vocational areas the over seas openings with the church. Areas to be considered are medi cine, education, agriculture. home economics; engineering, and technical work. The courses of study necessary for each field of work will be discussed. "The Mark of the Hawk" will be presented at 7:30 p.m., tomor row and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the HUB Assembly hall. This movie tells the story of national ism as seen by an educated Afri can Christian.
