TIM to Plan
More Gambling
Because of the success of Satur-j
day’s Las Vegas Night, the Town
Independent Men's Council is
planning to hold another gamb
ling night in the spring.
Philip Haines, TIM president,
reported that 603 tickets w r ere sold
and 100 complimentary tickets
given out. “We turned 300 away
! at the door,” he said.
Haines said the spring event
would be larger, and that he
hoped it would accommodate 1000
persons.
The event earned TIM and the
co-sponsor, Leonides Council,
$687.
Haines gave credit for the suc
cess of the event to the “out
standing efforts of TIM and Leoni
des members who participated.”
