The decision was then reversed after being reviewed by Elections Committee chairmen because "no ci4mite procedure for changing of party affiliation had been pub licized, other than in party meet togs," and because "Curry was unawdre of the procedure" Munroe's Name Omitted From Nominees' List Janet Munroe was nominated Sunday by University Party for sophomoi e class representative on the Student Government Asso ciation Assembly. The interior of the building has been painted and ceilings are presently being put into the rooms of the office wing, which connects the new siruc lure with the main building. Some speculation has been caused by pa•sers-by «ho notice the pastel-colored offices. Miller said that the Department of Home Economics chose the color scheme, and he didn't know whether the !reason was psychological or just decorative. The three stories of the north wing will be used as laboratories for textiles, sewing and cooking. Additional rooms, such as the fac ulty and graduate student design laboratory, will also be included, in the new building Coeds who drive on campus / as a result of a new regulation 1 this year. will be pleased to learn that two parking lots. each 120 by 150 feet. are being paved as part of the many con struction projects. An average of 60 men work daily on the project and are pres ently directing their efforts to complete the outside work by winter. Miller said the University con tract calls for completion of the project for April. "I know we can finish in time easily, if we beat the weather," he said. The Department of Corres ipondenee Instruction and the ,Department of Education Coun seling have already moved into rvlcAllister. The Department of Public Safety is in the process of moving. These department were pre viously located in Pollock Circle According to Stanley H. Camp- , bell. director of special projects' for business administration, the; re-location of these departments may not be permanent. Since the abandoning of McAl lister as a residence hall in the beginning of the semester, re quests have been made by various departments for office space in the building, he said. A committee has been consid ering the requests and will de cide which other departments, if any, will be moved into the build ing. he said. Campbell said that no remodel ing has been done to the building. The office equipment is being moved into the same rooms which residents used to use. McAllister was built in 1909 and used as a men's residence hall.
