TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 1959 Faculty In Alumni Nineteen University faculty members will participate in a series of panel discussions and lectures included in the Alumni Institute program to be held Friday. The Ninth Annual Alumn Alumni Class Reunion progra continues until Sunday. The panel discussion Friday morning and the series of 12 lec tures Friday afternoon are open to the public and area residents may pick up free tickets for the programs at the alumni registra tion table in the Hetzel Union Building, "American Culture from Auto to Atom" will be the title of the panel discussion at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Assembly Room of the Helsel Union Building. Moderator of the panel will be Elburt F. Osborn, dean of the College of Mineral Industries. Members of the pane will be Dr. Paul M. Althouse, assistant di rector of resident instruction, Col lege of Agriculture; Dr. Conard Fernelius, professor and head of the department of chemist y y and head of the department of chem ical engineering; Dr. Margaret B Matson, assistant professor of sociology; and Dr. John J. Schanz Jr., associate professor of min eral economics. At 2 p.m. Friday, the return ing alumni will have their choice of attending one of six lectures by prominent members of the University faculty.
