PAGE EIGHT ROTC Drill Teams To March Tonight Army, Navy and Air Force ROTC units and drill teams will march in the Armed Forces Day parade at 7 tonight. The State College High School Band will.lead the parade followed by the Headquarters and Service Company of the 491st Engineer Battalion, a State College Reserve Unit; a first aid truck of the Ordnance Research Laboratory; Scabbard and Blade, military honorary, and Scabbard and Blade Queen, June Gurke. The band and three companies of the Army ROTC will be fol lowed by the Pershing Rifles and the Navy band and companies will be followed by the Navy drill team. The Air Force ROTC will in dude the band, the Falcon Drill Team, Angel Flight, the Eagle Drill Team and the Air Force Drum and Bugle Corps. The parade will start at Short liclge Road and E. College Ave. It will move west on College Ave. to Burrowes Road and then north to Pollock Road. Ray V. Watkins, of State Col lege, will serve as grand mar shal of the parade. The mem bers of his staff are Col. Ar thur W. Kogstad, professor of military science and tactics: Capt. John P. Roach, professor of naval science: Orin H. Hig ley, professor of air science: and Josephine Groesbeck. repre senting the women in the serv ice. The Armed Forces Week ex hibit will continue in the Hetzel Union cardroom from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. There will also be an open house at the Pennsyl- Litzenberger Awarded Prize for Shrine Design Theodore Litzenberger, senior in architecture from Allentown, has been awarded the $3OO first prize in a competition for the de sign of a shrine to commemorate the concealment place of the original Liberty Bell. The national competition-called for a design for a meeting room, and space to display archives and historic relics.
