Miss Binder, a member of Alpha Phi social sorority, was one of the five finalists in 1957. Miss Piercy, Delta Gamma, was -the first runner-up in last year's contest. Miss Brown is a pledge of Kappa Alpha Theta. Miss Gresco is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma, Miss Gordon a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. Miss Luther a member of Chi Omega and Miss Pangonis a member of Theta Phi Alpha. The fourth annual crowning of the queen will take place Friday in the auditorium of the Belle fonte Junior - High School. The crowning ceremony and pageant Nvill be preceeded by a conver tible parade through the Belle- Ifonte business district. Music will be provided by the Keystonairs. Members of Scab bard and Blade will serve as es corts for the contestants. They will be judged in three categories bathing suit, evening gown and talent by five non-Centre County judges. The judges will select five finalists. These five will then be asked impromptu questions to determine the top three. The queen will be crowned by last year's queen, Jean Bixby, ;junior in arts and letters from State College. The minimum prizes for the queen will include a $2OO dollar lscholarship from the Bellefonte IJayCees, a tia r a, a trophy, a Catalina bathing suit and a gown for the Miss Pennsylvania con test. She, and a hostess, will re ceive a free trip to Chester for the state contest. The first runner-up will re ceive a $lOO savings bond and a trophy. The second runner-up will be presented with a $5O savings bond and a gift. Each of the other contestants will also receive a gift. Tribunal Applications Applications for tribunal seats next year are due tomorrow. Independent men have been urged to apply since the ratio of fraternity men to independents has been extremely high in re cent years. Application forms are available at the Hetzel Union desk.
