It seems a potted palm got up and walked out of the Hetzel Union ballroom last Wednesday after the Leonides fashion show. According to Carol Frank, pres ident of Leonides, there were three potted palms costing $2O each in the ballroom when she left at 8:30 p.m. The next morn ing Bill McMullen, who had do nated the palms, came to pick them up and found one was miss ing. A careful search, which in cluded checking phone booths, Spring Week floats and carnival booths, failed to reveal any trace! of the missing plant. If whoever aided the palm in walking off would help it return to Bill McMullen, no questions will be asked, according to Miss Frank. She added that Leonides is more concerned with the poS sible bad effect on student-town relations, especially with local merchants, than the $2O Leonides , will have to pay for the missing I plant.
