PAGE EIGHT McCoy-- (Continued from page one) not prevalent throughout the na tion. "I know there are many places where theie is too much pres sure," he said, "but I think the athletic programs at most uni versities are well run," What about the pressures that do exist today? McCoy feels they come from several sources, including the in stitution itself. "There is no question in my mind that the institutions are partly responsible for the pres sures that we have in inter collegiate competition today," McCoy said. "In addition, there are the many Quarterback Clubs, which can only see that a team must win all the time. And the news papers me to blame, too, for they become very critical of a situa tion when a team does not win enough games. "On top of all these pressures, these is the pressure on the coach. He knows he has to win or he'll be fired so he goes out after the blue chip like the otheis," Mc- Coy said Ag Council-- (Continued from page one) out about events and activities? •WIII our Council be forgotten and lo , e itc influence" James Uhl, senior in agricul ture education from Newfound land and vice president of the council, agreed with Kerr and asked members to instruct Coun cil Piesident Robert Laßar to vote in opposition to reorganiza tion as it is now stated. Laßar then gave up his chair and a , ,lied council not to bind him because he felt he would be better able to represent agricul ture students if he wasn't bound to vote against reorganization. He said, "All I can give you is my guarantee that unless it treorganiiation) imoroves I won't be for it." James Collins, senior in general agriculture from Sar ver, then said, "If we bind him to vote 'no' we won't get any thing more than we have now."
