In a letter to Elwood F. Olver, director of the Division of Secur ity, Feldstein suggested the spe cial meters to allow short-time paiking to pick up dates, espe •cially in the afternoons and even ings. The special spaces are being sought because of the parking ban in front, of Simmons and McElwain Halls. He reported on the letter to All-Umversity Cabinet Thursday night. Although Feldstein mailed it earlier this week, Olver said he has not received it and he did not want to comment until he does. In requesting the parking me ter system, Feldstein suggested that "about 20 or 25" parking permits for Area 40, behind Simmons and McElwain, be shifted to Area 46, the lot north of the new women's dormitories. Feldstein told Cabinet he and Dean of Men Frank J, Simes surveyed the area and discovered there are enough vacancies to al low the shift. 2 Fraternities 1 Alums To See New Homes Two fraternities will show off new houses to their alumni returning for today’s homecoming game and weekend.
