PAGE EIGHT UCA Plans Two Trips To Europe Two Eurnpean Seminars one emphasizing political, education al and religious patterns and the other, art and architecture—will be sponsored by the University Christian Association this sum mer. Both seminars will leave July 8 from New York by plane and ar rive July 9 in London. The cost of each seminar is $995, whi.2ll in cludes transportation, accomoda lions, all meals and tips (except for porters, etc.), but does not cover insurance, gifts or bev erages. The Introduction to Europe Seminar will be primarily devoted to 'Joking into the religious, po litical and economic backgrounds of the eight countries visited: England, Germany, Yugoslavia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Bel gium and Holland. The group will meet leading European figures as well as till dents from Cambridge Uni versity. The tour is under the direction of Dr. Howard A. Cut ler, Head of the Department of Economics and Coordinator for ; General Education. The Perspectives on Art and Architecture Seminar, under the leadership of Mr. A. William Italia'', professor of Architectui e. will place more emphasis on the arts. A four day stay in Brussels for the World's Fair will be in chded in the tour. Also included in the seminar are a visit to the Louvre in Paris, a tour of Rome and Flor ence in .taly, the British Mu seum in London and a trip throuoh the East Sector of Ber lin. The group will visit six countries: England, Germany. Italy, France, Holland an d Belgium. Anyone interested in spending six weeks in Europe with either of these seminars may contact M.. S. N.
