Oriental Violinist to Present Recital Toshiya Eto, Oriental vio linist, will give a recital in the Iletzel Union Auditorium at 8 p.m. tomorrow. Eto is on the faculty of the Curtis Institute. He has been well reviewed by New York critics. Since then Eto has appeared; with orchestras under such con ductors as Ormandy, Golschman, Jorda and Alessandro. 800 'Big Sisters' to Welcome Frosh Coeds Next Semester Approximately 800 "big sisters" will be on campus to . greet new women students this fall in the first University wide "big-little sister" program. The 'big sisters" are coeds who have volunteered for the job and are working through their col -Ipges. They will meet their "little sisters" sometime during orien tation week. Seven of the nine colleges are cooperating with the program. The college of Physical Educa tion and Athletics will not par ticipate. The Liberal Arts Stu dent Council (the old council) voted not to support the pro gram, but stipulated that the present council could vote again on the issue. If the College of the Liberal Arts does not support the pro. gram, some coeds from that col lege who signed up can be "big sisters." The program is being coordin ated in the various colleges by chairmen within the colleges. The Colleges of Chemistry-Physics, Engineering and Architecture and Mineral Industries are conducting their program as one organiza- _ .
