As the match opened Crowe faked his - opponent off-balance, shot in and scored with a driving double leg takedown. He ended the match with a half-nelson and crotch body press. Tom Williams, Della Thela Sigma's 145-pounder powered his way to a decision over Marty Lieb. Alpha Zeta. Williams took his man down early in the first period and from then on it was his match. The rangy grappler tried for the fall twice and scored on predicaments but Ueb proved too much to pin and the match ended in a 7-0 decision in William’s favor. Tom Kessinger, Sigma Chi, pinned Delta Upsilon’s Dave Du laney in what proved to be the evening’s outstanding" 128-pound dual. It was a case of experience over power as Kessinger pan caked his opponent and ended the match at the 68 second mark with a body press.
