Helen Baldwin, junior in edu cation from Lewistown, was ap pointed coordinator on campus for the Intercollegiate Association of Women Students (lAWS). It was announced that WSGA will send delegates to the lAWS convention April 2-5 at the Uni versity of West Virginia. Presi dent Susanne Smith, Helen Bald win and other members of sen ate will represent the University. .The Senate on Wednesday- also discussed May Day. It was an nounced that the women gym nasts and the Interlandia dancers could not be used again this year . for entertainment. It was sugges ted that modem dancers be used. .- It was also suggested that Bea ver Field might be less expensive than the lawn of Old Main for the festivities. The programs will consist of lectures, demonstrations and dis [missions presented by outstanding [faculty members of the cooperat ing institutions. They are designed for home makers and retired persons who have not taken courses in these subjects,. for high school stu dents who want to refresh their knowledge for college in the fall and forewomen's clubs and other organizations which may form special listening groups. The program was offered for the first time last summer for an 8-week period.
