Brunning, professor of sociology at Columbia University. Brunning, who is also chairman of the Bureau of Applied Social Research, spoke Tuesday at a public meeting sponsored by reli gious and international relations organizations. The program was part of a worldwide day of pro test against the apartheid policy and eoinrided with the United Rations Human Rights Day. Brunning said that the silua fion in South Africa is "'one of the most fascinating sociology cel problems in the world."
