Mr. and Mrs. Mountan, who have -been married 16 months represented the young married couple in college.. Mountan said that at the time, of their mar riage, there was a feeling on “no | sense in waiting.” Mrs. Mountan s_id that they have adopted a 150-50 plan and Mountan added jthat “marriage is built on com- Ipanionship and sharing the work load.” . Dr. Roy, a native of India, and Mrs. Roy of Oregon, have been married nine years. They both work in geochemistry. Dr. Roy supported marriage counsellors for "they started, out as people like us,” after Lehman said, “Don’t put yourself into a pat tern concerning the time and place for marriage.” Young peo ple should not forget their in dividuality, said Lehman. Mrs. Lehman said she is “all for college marriages if the couple are capabk mature young people who know wha't they are doing.” Her husband .pointed out the danger signals if parents have to help support married college students. “You may not feel com pletely independent” afterwards, he said.
