PAGE EIGHT Application Deadline Set For Mad-Hatters Contest Application blanks for the Spring Week Mad-Hatters Contest are due Sunday night, according to Glen Elder, chairman. The theme of the contest, as well as the theme of Spring Week, is "Disneyland". Each group must choose one of the three major categories for the contest which are Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Frontierland. MI points given for active par ticipation will be based on the total per cent of participation of The combined groups. This means that the smaller as well as the larger groups will have an equal opportunity because of the per centage system. Percentage Basis Groups have been urged to sub mit names of those student teach ing this semester so they will not be counted in the percentage basis. Also, names of those expected to participate should be included on the application blank. Groups en tering more than the number of names submitted will be disquali fied. Hats will be judged on ease of recognition, originality. quality of workmanship and adherence to category. Mitchell, professor of mining engineering and chairman of mineral engineering, has been appointed a member of the Na tional Coal Association's Panel of Preparation.
