Oct. 22 UP) —Hundreds of armed partisans of overthrown Hondur an President Julio Lozano were reported hiding out in the moun tains today and preparing to at tack military garrisons. A three-man military junta, which took over the rule of the country in a bloodless coup yes terday, was heard in a Honduras broadcast to call upon the parti sans to surrender their arms. The broadcast promised there would be no persecution of Lozano sup porters and urged them- not to seek political asylum in foreign embassies. Hoxsey Case Continues • PITTSBURGH, Oct. 22 (A I )—A Philadelphia aill manufacturer testified today he shipped pills to the Hoxsey Ca icer Clinic at Port age. Pa., after ether pills had been confiscated at the clinic by the government. Paul Lustgarten said in U.S. District Court that Dr. Newton C. Allen, clinic director, telephoned him in April, 1955, and asked him to manufacture three types ofj pills. Lustgarten said he supplied the clinic with half an order. The White Ho Eisenhower WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 UP)— President Dwight D. Eisenhower will enter Walter Reed Army Hospital Saturday afternoon for the complete physical examina tion he said h.e would undergo before the Nov. 6 election. The White House announecd the results of the “head-to-toe” checkup by an eight-man medical team will be made public not later than next Monday morning. It was at a news conference Aug. 8 that the President said he planned a re-election test of. his health. If it shows him unfit for a second term, he said at that time, he will go before the people and tell them. James C. Hagerty, the White House press secretary, said Eisen hower’s health is “fine” right now. It developed today that the President may increase his speak ing schedule during the last two weeks of the campaign, making several more major appearances outside Washington. The union would take in what once was a predominately French domain. France viewed the whole thing with suspicion and suspend ed talks with the Moroccans on technical and financial aid. Stevenson said today he shares President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s “resentment at the manner and timing” of Soviet Premier Nicho lai Bulganin’s H-bomb message. But, he said, he thought the President’s reply “is unfortun ate.” Stevenson said the United States should explore Bulganin’s proposals “immediately and all the way.” At the same time, the Demo cratic presidential nominee said this is not the first time Russian leaders have interested them selves in the 1956 election. He said they have made it plain their candidate is Eisenhower. Stevenson issued a statement commenting on his opponent’s sharp rejection of-Bulganin’s lat est proposal that H-bomb tests be halted by international agree ment. Stevenson has urged the same thing.
