On October 12, 1492, the original American citizenry was invaded by a guy named Christopher Columbus. Now, 464 years later to the day, another strange invasion will take place—this time in Nittany Valley. Today’s invaders are called simply—alumni. Alumni are said to come in as sorted sizes and occupations, but all seem -to have the same thought: “We never did this when we were here.” Register at HUB Their first massing will take place today at a special registra tion desk in the Hetzel Union building, the headquarters this weekend for the alumni. Some may wander into either the Thespian original production of “Hat in the Ring” or the Play ers’ nroduction of “My Three An gels,” while some are sure to visit downtown “old time hangouts.” Alumni Council lo Meet At 10 a.m. tomorrow, there will be an Alumni Council meeting in the assembly room of the HUB, after which a luncheon will be held in the ballroom.
