OCTOBER 5. 1956 Sororities to Begin Rushing Program Sororities will begin the informal rushing program this year with open house on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. , Coeds who intend to rush should register in the office of the dean of women by 5 p.m. Monday. Second semester women are required to have a 2.3 aver age; all other upperclasswomen must have an All-University aver age, of 2.0. ■ All women who register for in formal rush are invited to visit any of the suites on Tuesday and Thursday, 1-5 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m.; and Wednesday • from 1-5 p.rri. Rushees may visit only those sororities to which they have been extended an in vitation. Invitations be re ceived by the rushee in her mail box. She will mark the hour she wishes to visit the suite and re turn- it to the dormitory housing that sorority before noon of the following day. ' Rushing will not be held on Saturdays and Sundays. Bids foir membership in a par ticular sorority will be extended through the office of the dean of women where it will be stamped with the official Panhel seal and mailed.
