Lavino Co., of Phila delphia, has established a $5OO scholarship to encourage fresh men to enroll in the mineral eco nomics curriculum. The award will be made in September to a student admitted Ito the curriculum of mineral eco nomics. He will be chosen by the / m i n e r al industries scholarship ! committee on the basis of schol arship, character, and need. The company also provides a / scholarship for a student enrolled 1 1n the ceramic technology curric ulum.
