In EIGA All-Around Scramble
By RON GATEHOUSE
Captain and number one performer on the Pehn State gym team, pint-sized Karl

year—Jean Cronstedt.

He airiassed a total of 1620
points in the six events included
in the all-around to surpass Cron

est possible total is 1800.
Competing against three other
entries in the all-around, and a
field of over 50 in the six regular
Eastern events, the Nittany cap

place trophies, and two seconds,
in addition to winning the allr
around. Syracuse’s Milan Tmka,
who provided top competition for
the Lion ace, was runner-up for
the Olympic title with 1496.
Sehwenzfteier averaged 270 points,
winning five of the six all-around
events—calisthenics, still rings,
