At pre sent the officers are nominated and elected by :he councils, as is done in the other eight councils. It was decided that the elce.tionS committee would investigate the pros and cons of the issue and re port to the council. There are three possible methods to be con sidered by the committee: The present systern of election within the council; the nomination by the council and the election by the students of the College of Ag riculture; and nomination and election by the entire college. It was decided by the council that the Coaly Society would meet to decide whether there would be a program this year to honor ag riculture leaders. In the •past few years this has been the purpose of Ag Hill Achievement Night. Williams requested that each club appoint four students to go to the Farm Show in Harrisburg. The students have been asked to be in a pageant to represent the Penn State Centennial. Williams also appointed the Farm Show Committee. The mem bers are Daniel Van Duyne, chair man, Joanne Moore, Beverly Pat terson, James Brosius and Carl Flandermyer. The council also voted to send a recommendation to the authori ties of the College of Engineering library proposing that the library remain open until 11 each week night.
