The Penn State Bible Fellowship will hear a talk by Dr. Kenneth Smith, president of Westminster College at New Wilmington at 7:30 tonight in 405 Old Main. -.The first of a series of Lenten discussions will .be held at '7:80 tonight at the Lutheran Student Association, 412 W. College ave nue. The first talk, under the' theme "The History of the Pas sion," will be given by the R.ev. Kenneth Swanson of Snydertown. A Fireside Frolic will. be held following the discussion in Fellow:. ship Hall at the center. Wesley Foundation_of the Meth odist Church will hold open house for the students tonight. • Sabbath Eve services at Hillel Foundation, 224 S. Miles street, at 8 tonight will feature an in formal sermon entitled "Ask the Rabbi." This service will' feature questions directed to Rabbi Ben jamin M. Kahn by the congrega tion about Jewish history, cus toms and traditions, cu r r e.n t events, and contemporary prob lems. WRA to Sponsor • Annual Sports Day The annual 'Penn State Day sponsored by the Women's Recre ation Association will beheld from 12:30 to .5 p.m. tomorrow in White Hall. Teams from six schools, includ ing the University, will partici pate in bowling, badminton, swim ming, basketball, and modern dance. At a sports day Saturday at Lycoming, Penn State's team tied for first place with Bucknell Uni versity. The Penn State team took first place in two events—bowling and badminton. Hillel to Hold Tryouts For Two One-Act Plays Tryouts will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow for two ode-act plays to be presented in the near future by the dramatics group at the Hillel Foundation, 224 •S. Miles street. Tryouts will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday for the two one-act plays to be presented Mothers' Day, May 9. The plays are "The Val iant" by Middlemass and Hall, and "If Men Played Cards as Women Do" by George S. Kaufman. • Anyone may try out for the parts. Stage crews will also be chosen. Mueller to Speak Werner J. Mueller, graduate student in poultry husbandry from Switzerland, will speak on "Edu cational Trends and Problems in the World's Oldest Republic" at noon Mond a y to the Faculty Luncheon Club in the Hotel State College.
