The only time it always rains, or snows, is the day Froth is scheduled to go on sale—or so the circulation staff says. Froth, campus humor magazine, is published eight times a year for 25 cents per copy or $1.75 a subscription. Froth contains light fiction, poetry, cartoons, photog raphy and jokes. The fiist issue of the magazine this year will come out Sept. 22, according to Editor Marshall Don ley. No field, apparently, is too big to escape Frothy's acid 2 cents worth. Last year's themes ranged from '"Corruption in High Places" to "Modern Spleen," a take-off on a nationally known movie maga zine. Regular features include "Froth Girl of the Month," with pictures and vital statistics, "Old Mania," an account of the latest pinnings, engagements, and marriages, and the "Dope Sheet," which previews movies and campus activities and explores local eating places. A call for candidates for liter ary, art, circulation, promotion and photography staffs, will be made soon. Promotions are made on the basis of ability, interest, and work. -.: i . ....n.......w.mmecca5ve*.nrw....Ww.W.V.....e.,‘"...5in.,,•,,ven‘we.........*.e.A.N.ViVne.e....... 4... ......M.WeiaMMW•Va........l.vo.n...yeeo.venwonve‘megme•Nss 1 II 1 • g. . : , q .Ik. ••••••••7,.. , . ••••••• ......s . •••••.....w.miksomi.e....
