Rec Hall Plan
Turned Down
By Ed Council
The Education Student Council
last night unanimously defeated
the seating plan whereby students
would exchange athletic book
tickets for regular admission tick
ets for Recreation Hall sporting
events. The unexchanged tickets
would then go on sale to the gen
eral public.
The council did express ap
proval, however, of some plan to
allow faculty and townspeople to
attend events in Rec Hall.
The Interstudent Council Board
fee proposal that calls for each
student in each school to be as
sessed a 25-cent fee at registration
was passed by the council. The
plan is such that schools wanting
more than 25 cents such as The ag
riculture and home ec schools
would collect the difference with
in their own schools.
Harry Schank was elected presi
dent of the council, Suzanne West
cott was elected vice president,
and Mary Glading was elected
secretary-treasurer.
5 Students Withdraw
Five students have withdrawn
from the College according to the
last Faculty Bulletin. Reasons
given were personal, three; mili
tary, one; and unknown, one.
