THURSDAY, - NOVEMBtR 20, 1952 WSGA Senate Approves Dorm Gueit Regulations Guests in women's dormitories who break the College no-drink ing, rule will no longer have the privilege of dormitory use, Women's Student Government Association Senate decided 'last night. The Senate_ -also voted to notify by letter the parents of the women concerned. Irene Taylor, Judicial representative to Senate, Will appoint a joint committee of Senate and Ju dicial members to draft the letter. The proposal goes into effect im mediately. A blacklist - of women guests who have broken into the drink ing rule will be' . published and sent to each dormitory hostess. As weekend guests sign in, their names will be checked against • \ the list. Another proposal co n cerning weekend guests in women's dorm itories will be discussed at next week's meeting. McCoy's Recreation Hall seating plan, with the stipulation that the 300 seats be reserved for non-students only Monday through Friday nights. However, the board will permit Mabel Marple, WRA president, to represent it as she sees fit.. Arrangements are being made by the group for the annual WRA Christmas party for under-privi leged children in the area. The party will be given sometime be fore Christmas vacation in White Hall. She pointed out that no charge was made in men's dormitories when housing was not required to supply extra cots or bed linen. Senate unanimously defeated a motion introduced by Miss Tay lor to cut the number of 11 o'- clocks to four a semester for sev enth semester women who will spend eight weeks of the semester practice teaching. Miss Taylor stressed this was not her proposal, but one suggested to her by dorm itory hostesses.
