Smith, Windcrest burgess, announced yesterday that those Pollock Circle students who are parking cars inside the Wind crest area at the entrance from Pollock road and at the southeast end of the Pollock dorms will re ceive violation notices. Students receiving violation notices will not be punished un less the parking in the Windcrest area continues, Smith said. If parking by the students con tinues. they will be issued tickets from the Campus Patrol and brought before Tribunal, he said. According to the parking map released by the department of Physical Plant at the College, parking area 42 is designated for use by Pollock. Circle students and Windcrest residents. Capt. Lewis Mark, chief of campus patrol, ex plained that only the parking lot on Pollock road and the one east of Dorm 4 is designated for Pol lock students. The other parking lots within area 42 are to be em ployed by Windcrest residents. Some students have parked cars on the southeast end of Pollock Circle, a street on which Wind crest residents are not permitted to park, Smith said. Tryouts Scheduled For '2oth Century' Persons interested in trying out for the Players production, “Twentieth Century,” may sign up in the Green Room at Schwab Auditorium. Readings will be held tonight for newcomers, and tonight and Sunday for those previously con nected with Players. The play, directed by Kelly Yeaton, will be presented at Schwab Nov. 6,7, and 8. PENNSYLVANIA Blue Band to Use Double-Time Drill Penn State’s Blue Band will start off its 53d year at the Tem ple game tomorrow and will again do everything “on the dou ble.” " Hummel Fishbui-n, head’of the Music Department and in charge of the band’s marching forma tions, predicts that before the end of the season they may be using the fastest full step cadence in the country. Besides marching at five home games, the band will go to Phila delphia Nov. 1 for the Penn game and to Pittsburgh Nov. 22 for the Pitt game. Like the football team, the bandsmen work in quest of per fection, drilling daily during the football season.
