The festival will take place from . 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the State College High School, Frazier street. Memberr of Cwens are work ing in cortjunction with senior high school students. The main feature of the festival is _the crowning _of a king and a queen. High schoo' students will nomi nate 'candidates, and the two re ceiving the greatest number of penny • votes will be crowned strawberry festival king an d queen. Another event will be the novelty cake walk. Strawberries and ice cream will be sold at the festivat. Committees handling arrange ments are made up' of active members of Cwens and members of the senior class of the State College High School. Nancy White, mem b e r of Cwens and general chairman for the event, said that the festival has two-fold purpose. It will contribute to the support of a war orphan and will mark an effort at closer integration of State College school groups and campus organizations.
