PAGE EIGHT Coed Housing Nears Normal, Weston Says "SloWly but surely" the over flow of students which caused temporary sleeping quarters to be set up in the lounges of the dor mitories is returning to normal, Dean of Women Pearl Weston reported yesterday. From the high tide mark of 96 lounge-housed wom e n, the number has shrunk to approxi mately 40 with Miss Weston's as su r an c e of normality "one of these days." The cause of the delay s lies in the fact that Miss Weston is hold ing the reservations of all women who were on campus last year until she receives definite word that they' have no intention of returning for the fall semester. As fast as possible after :the cancellation of the $lO deposit the overflow of students is being properly housed, Miss Weston added. As for men's housing, Russell Clark, director of housing, report ed that all students have been quartered. Clark also said that the housing of men in the lounges was only necessary one night and for only ten or 12 men.
