Both sides ih the hotly disputed case agreed the issue vitally affects the conduct of political campaigns and freedom of speech. There was no argument involved as to speeches by candidates them-? Selves ‘ * federal law says stations may not censor their speeches.; The high court gave no formal opinions today but in brief orders it also: 1.
