Sigma Delta and Alpha Tau Omega remained in a deadlock for first place in league E as the intramural fraternity basketball circuit rolled on through its ele venth- week of action. Indepen dent court play also continued as, Dorm 21 and the AllentoWn Aces won for the time, without a defeat. In fraternity tilts Alpha Tau Omega led all the way in down ing Alpha Chi Sigma, 26-11, with John McCall banking 7 markers; Phi Sigma Delta had a tougher time beating Delta Upsilon, 16-14, to stay unbeaten; also in league E, Stan Laganosky's 15 points led Sigma Phi Sigma to a 19-6 win over Beta Theta Pi. Sigma Alpha Mu of league C edged Triangle, 17-16, as Bernie Specter sank a .charity toss with a minute to play. In the other league C tilt Phi Kappa Sigma was bested by Phi Gamma Delta, 18-13. League D games saw Beta Sig ma Rho and Sigma Phi Epsilon engage in a wild scoring battle with the Beta Sigs 'coming out on top, 35-26, to tie the losers and Phi Delta Theta for first spot.
