Maybe we didn't have fun dressing up the girls." On one road trip, someone put the female apparel on the wrong train, and a Bellefonte curtain was held 30 minutes while frantic Thespians and unimpressed rail road officials pursued the gar ments up and down the Main Line. Bellefonte never was too kind to the Thespians; once, in fact, it snowed them in for some days. The cast had to be billeted in homes throughout the town. But the good old days died, the road trips were a thing of the past, and the Masquerettes came to delight audiences with exhibits of those peculiar talents which even the most accomplished male actors cannot duplicate. And to viewer s of Thespians' leggy "Some Punkins," next week, the idea of womanless productions will be but an evil dream. • Wednesday, and Saturday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Each team is required to have, two practices. Being an astute ob server, he reports—quote---" The reason there are so many poor people in the South, is because of the poverty"—unquote. Which is probably why ROLFS billfolds are so popular in the north. How Now, Green Cow You know, these ROLFS bill folds are really Some Punkins (plug). Not only do they have the secret currency pocket. They have removable, transparent card and photo pockets to keep. your favorite picture of the Armory, or draft card. (If you have all of Dad's money, you might send him a ROLFS to keep a picture of the character who's spending it.) There are two spare key pockets, too, in case you have two spare keys. All this, and there's still room for bills. And that's not all. Listen to these colors, girls: Playred, Sierra Blue, Green-Pepper, Pumpkin, Mustard, Brown Oak, and Black. The men's "Director" comes in Saddle Tan, Mahogany, Ranger Tan, Brown Oak, and Black. You can well imagine that on ly smooth, Phi Beta Cows are fortunate enuf to get made into a ROLFS. (And here's a tip. Green- Pepper and Pumpkin cows are becoming extinct so better buy now for Christmas gifts as well as yourself. How to Let Him Know You're From the City Harry, would you please get yourself over into the "Lost" col umn: the rest is for women only. And what good news. Ethel has the most wonderful collection of evening bags you've ever put lip stiCk, perfume bottle, comb, hand kerchief, compact, keys, glass case, date book, lifesavers, spare set of earrings, and party favors in. One's sort of a pouch of white beads with a very unique gold op ening. It's like an expansible watch band (Ethel carries Spei del, by the way) only about two inches wide. It expands open to accept anythipg up to a medium sized apple; and closes to the size of a seventy-five cent piece. A neat gold cap on a fine mesh chain fits over the top to touch off one of the prettiest evening bags you've ever gone out with. The compliments you receive on this one will make the price of $lO.BO seem insignificant. And here's a very unusual bag if you can keep your inventory down. It's about the size of a bill fold for Confederate money. But nobody's going to look in to see what you're tarring, because the embroidered outside o f fine Chinese design is going to hold any date's facinated attention. One -of-a-kind designs in lovely color combinations at $12.00. Of "course Ethel has every pop ular gold and silver mesh bags and others you should see at all prices from $4.20 to $lB.OO. A good way to tell how much you should pay is to total up the dates you'll have during college and divide it into the price. With bags like these, you'll be so popular the cost per date probobly wouldn't buy a spare cap for your toothpaste. 0.K., Harry, so you read it any way. Well, mabey it's not a com plete loss: now you've got a good gift idea for your sister or girl friend. See you next week. Got to get a tube for my radio so I can hear the Blue and White husk Nebraska tomorrow. 112 EAST COLLEGE AVENUE STATE COLLEGE, PA. ~GE SEVEN
