PAGE FOUR Tuesday Now Deadline For Queen Photos Freshmen are urged to enter a candidate for the title of Belle Hop Queen, Bill Whittle, chair man of the Belle Hop Ball stated today. Since Tribunal lifted cus toms for the dance, freshmen can be present to support their en try. Because of the late information for freshmen entries, the dead line for submitting pictures of candidates for the title of Belle Hop Queen has been extended until Tuesday, Oct. 17 at noon. All pictures, with the exception of snapshots, should be brought or mailed to the hotel adminis tration office, Home Economic building. The name of the girl and the organization sponsoring her should be written on the back of pictures. Photographs will be judged by a panel of impartial judges and five finalists will be selected to appear at the ball. The ..winner will be , chosen by popular ap plause and awarded a silver cup bearing her new title. The ball, an annual affair, will be held at Recreation hall Octo ber 21. It is sponsored by the, Greeters, an organization of hotel administration students. Jr. Pan-He! Sponsors Tea Junior Panhellenic Council is giving a tea for all new sorority pledges in McElwain lounge from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The tea, an annual affair, provides an op portunity to meet pledges of other sororities and to develop a better Panhellenic spirit, said Nancy George, president of senior Pan hellenic council. Members and advisors of junior Panhellenic Council will be pres ent. Guests at the tea will be Dean Pearl Weston, Miss Laird, and members of senior Panhell enic Council. Pledge groups of each sorority are to elect a representative to the Junior Panhellenic Council. She will serve one year. A meet ing time will be announced later. The next meeting of senior Pan hellenic Council will be in the Delta Zeta suite, at 7 p.m. Octo ber 17.
