IM Swimming Entries Pass Last Year's 49 Team Total "Dutch" Sykes, assistant direc tOr of IM athletics at the College, today announced that the IM swimming office has received en trance blanks for 58 teams, 9 more than last year, with 406 in dividuals swimming a grand to tal of 292 "man-meets." Man meets is the term proposed by the IM department to indicate the total number of participants in swimming although some men swim in several events. Of the teams entered, 45 are fraternity and 13 independents. This is one or the few years in which the independents have been represented so heavily.
