Bars Removed To Preserve Fraternity System--H. K. Wilson H. K. Wilson, dean of men, has termed the removal of bars from the fraternities a "move to help preserve the fraternity system at Penn State." The interfraterity council has formed a committee to see if the ruling of removing the bars has been carried out.. This committee will confer with Dean Wilson and other officials to discuss what to look for when they visit the houses. "This committee will then investigate, and report to Dean Wilson," Harold Leinbach, presi dent of the Interfraternity council said. Dean Wilson said that with the graduation of many older -men and the influx of younger stu dents, the removal of bars was deemed by the administration to be a necessary measure. He add ed he hoped that the ."students would see the pioblem, recognize the need for solution, and take their full share in correcting this problem." Dean Wilson stated that the dean of men's office would co operate to the fullest extent with IFC concerning violations of the regulation and that any violations "would be dealt with drastic dis ciplinary action."
