PAGE FO?•TR Gamma Phi Beta Secures Intramural Basketball Crown Gamma Phi Beta won•the intramural basketball crown Monday night by defeating Leonides 2419. Both teams showed a great deal of spirit and Leonides' downfall was caused by the close guarding by Marilyn Williams, Grace Black, and Gertrude Fetzer of the Gamma Phi's team. • Leonides led in the first' guar 'score and then' forged ahead to remain there, leading 18-14 , at half time. Paced by Patti Wolfe With 12 tallies and Jean' Garretson with 10, the Gamma Phi Beta's dis played the- same expert • shooting as in• their other games. Well placed shots by Helen .Rusinko produced 9 points and Evelyn Lanin, 10 points for Leonides. Mac Allister.
