PAGE FOUR Officer .Nominations Made At WSGA, WRA Meeting Additional nominations were made at the WSGA, WRA mass meeting on Tuesday evening when the women’s government groups presented their slates. Qualifications of all nominees were read. Names added to the WSGA s] date foP-the office of freshman s Doris Heister and Margaret Schull and Ann Porter to the sophomore senator slate of Barbara Klopp, Sally Shoemaker and Annabelle Russell; and Virginia Miller, Vir ginia Preuss and Nancy Walker as candidates for treasurer with Lois Jakob. Eleanor Miller and Jane Stieber. WRA SLATE Genie Deger, Nancy DalzelL and Nancy McClain were nomi nated for WRA sophomore rep resentative to compete against Margaret Betts, Barbara Cochran and Margaret Rouse. Sally Sechler and Sally Os mond were nominated for the post of WRA secretary-treasurer. This slate includes Jane Snitger, Helen Neusbaum and Marilyn Williams. No additional names were presented to the slate of Janet Herd, Patricia Frank and Mable Markle running for fresh man representative of WRA. Primary Elections Primary elections at which time all names but-two for each office will be eliminated will be Freshman Women Elect Officers Freshman women elected offi cers of their dormitory units Monday night. The new, officers will make up the Freshman Council, a WSGA governing body similar to the House of Repre sentatives. . The girls who will represent the four living units in Atherton are Janet Coursey, Nancy Buen, Barbara Green, and. Joan Yerger, presidents; Rae Witherow, Honey Kaliner, Constance lyielvin, and June Gernet, vice-presidents; and Jean Minton, Catherine Cor bier, Phyllis Szolack, and Jo Waterhouse, secretaries. Freshman Council has as its presiding officer the sophomore senator, who has not yet been elected. Also present at Council will be the freshman town sena tor. Nominations for the latter office were held at the WSGA mass meeting on Tuesday night. Those nominated were Barbara Denniston, Nancy Higgins, Sylvia Poweres and Jean Reist. Masquerettes Hold Initiation for Six Masquerettes, women’s count erpart of Thespians, initiated six women into the organization on Monday night, Betty Lou Shel ley, president, announced. New initiates are Marian Gold man, Marcy Romanoff, Laura Jo Rose, Elaine Rosenbloom, Phyllis Sones and Carole Wineman.
