Stark Paces Lion Hitters, Gehrett, Miller Top Hurlers Don Stark, last season's leading hitter, is again leading the parade of Lion sluggers as the College baseball season enters its final weeks. The hard-hitting little fly-chaser has an average of .377 with figures complete as of Saturday's contest with Navy. Jim Masticola and Southpaw Bill Benyish lead the Blue and White hurlers in effectiveness, both pitchers boasting records of one win and no defeats for a percentage of 1.000. Captain Bob Gehrett owns the most wins. four, and both he and Cy Miller have win ning percentages of .667• Gehrett's record is four wins and two defeats while Miller sports a mark of two victories and one setbeck. Stark not only leads in hitting, but has a stranglehold on practic ally every hitting record on the team among the regulars.
