In addition, Dean Hammond will address the division of en gineering on "How can human istic-social courseq be more ef fective in the education of engi neers?" The division of engineer ing will also sponsor a symposium on engineering extension activi ties at which Prof. Edward L. Keller will discuss administra tive and financial policies. Dr. Grace M. Henderson, head of the department of home eco nomics, is on a joint committee with the American Vocational Association for the convention. Orvis Keller, assistant to the president, is a member of a special committee on short cur ricula in land-grant institutions. Dr. Fred F. Lininger, director of the Pennsylvania agricultural experiment station at the Col lege, will attend several meetings of experiment station directors. J. "The percentage of married students will hold to its present mark of 20 to 25 per cent when the, new assignees arrive in Feb ruary, since 45 of the students at the Centers are married," said Galbraith.
