L. ,SACKETT Hobert Lemuel Sackett, dean emeritus of the School of Engi neering, died in New York City last Sunday after a long illness. He was 7 , 8 years old. Funeral services will be held this after noon in New York City. Dr. Sackett served the College as dean of the School of Engi neering from 11910 until his retire ment ire 11937. Arthur R. Warnock, dean of men, said this opportunity had been extended because of the larg e number •of students on campus qulalified to vote. He estimated• the total at more than 4000. He .pointed out that this prob ably is the first time in Penn State history that classes will hav e been suspended for Election Day.
