NAGE Aff Professor Surveys rm Labor Situation Dr. VV. E. Keepper of the depart ment of agricultural economics at the College is conducting a study of the impact of the past year of war upon the farm labor situation it Pennsylvania. The study will :-upplement an earlier report cov ering the period from October, 940, through September, 1942. Some of the same farmers in the 19 counties formerly surveyed will ;)e interviewed again in the pres ent investigation. This follow-up study should provide clues to re cent changes in the labor force, changes in sizes and kinds of farm enterprises, operator's plans for the following year, and other ad justments which farmers have had to make because of prevailing labor conditions.
