THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1943, Senate Grants Usual Hours To Frosh Soph Hop Weekend Members Will Meet Curiiss-Wright Women Because WSGA Senate and Judicial believe that their conduct has improved slightly in the past week, freshman women will re ceive the usual 2 o’clock and 1 o’clock permissions for Soph Hop weekend, February 26 and 27, it was revealed at Senate meeting last night. Marion C. Dougherty, Judicial chairman, reminded underclass men, however, that there are still too ' many infringements of cus toms and added that future per missions, specifically for Junior- Senior Ball weekend, will not be granted unless further improve ment is evident. The chief offense, according to Miss Dougherty, is Sunday night dating. Senate members will visit Watts Hall early next week to welcome Curtiss-Wright “Cadettes,” who will arrive today and tomorrow. Members of the women’s govern ment group will .also meet buses to direct the women engineering students to Watts Hall. Ruth M. Storer, president; also urged coeds who do not have classes when the buses arrive to meet the Cadettes.
