. Women's Building was the scene
of unusual commotion Sunday af
ternoon, when coeds found a
smoke-filed lounge and a distinc
ive odor of fire.
The odor soon spread to the hall.
no caw could discover the origin of
the fire. A coed called the State
College Fire Department and the
Campus Patrol, but it wasn't until
A. Jane Stewart '46: lifted the
cushions from the sofa, that the
blaze was finally discovered.
Several Campus Patrolmen put
out the tire, which was evidently
caused by a cigarette.
