Society Continues Defense Stamp Sale Continuing an extensive de fense effort, Mortar Board will sell defense stamps at Student Union from I to 5 p. m. today and tomorrow, Pauline Crossman '43, president of the national women's honor society, announced last night. Men purchasing more than 50 cents worth of the stamps will be given 'ribbons to replace corsages for WRA's "Football Formal" in White Hall from 9 p. m. to mid night Saturday. Cwens, national sophomore women's honorary, will assist with the sales. New Coed Drafters Will Organize Today An organization meeting for all coeds who are interested in en rolling in the new ESMWT air plane and ship drafting courses will be held in 107 Main Engin eering Building at 5 o'clock this afternoon, according to Prof. B. K. Johnstone, head of architecture engineering and 'general course supervisor. Sponsored by the U. S. Office of Education, the courses are of fered to town- and faculty women and to coeds who plan to termin ate their College career in August, 1943. Employment with an ex cellent beginning salary is prac tically certain for each woman upon completion of either course, Prof. Johnstone pointed out. Doris Stevenson '44. A huge white paper football will be conveniently placed to re ceive signatures of guest's, while a gigantic goal post will display names of both teams' players, Miss Stevenson announced. Pic tures of football heroes will deco rate gym walls and bandstand. • Formal, the dance is open to all coeds, and according to al de cision made at a meeting of the WRA Executive Board,.it will be "corsage-less." In their place, defense stamps .will be sold at the door by Mortar Board, national senior women's hdnor society, and Cwens, national sophomore women's honorary. Pauline Crossman '43, Mortar Board president, is in charge. Tickets for the dance, which, sell for $l.lO, may be obtained from Student Union or WRA members. They will be sold outside dining rooms in Atherton - McAllister Hall, and the Sandwich Shop after dinner to night, tomorrow, and Saturday noon, Miss Stevenson said. She stated that the "coed-ask-man" dance is an annual affair which coeds will have to support to in sure success. Proceeds of the dance will go tcward a WRA scholarship fund for worthy coeds outstanding in WRA activities, but not neces sarily limited to physical educa tion majors, General Chairman Margaret K.
