It contains all the schedules and information that the new student will need during his first week at College. Social highlight of the program are the Student Union Dances scheduled for the. Armory from four to five p. m. Monday, Tues day, and Wednesday. An admin istrative official stressed the benefits derived from these dances, since they fill the need for new .students meeting _each other. Four mixers have been planned for the incoming freshman by WSGA. Two will be held Friday and two Saturday, September 11 and 12. One will be in Rec Hall and the other in the Armory, from 8 to 11 p. m. Invited to act as hosts and hostesses at the mixers will be ten honorary and hat societies. They are Mortar Board, Cwens, Druids, Friars, Blue Key, Parmi Nous, Skull and BoneS, Pi Lamb: , da Theta, Ellen H. Richards, and Omicron Nu, Dorothy K. Brun ner, WSGA vice president an nounced last night. Groups of 100 coeds will be asked to each mixer each night, so that all students will have an opportunity of attending. No upperclassmen will be admitted, except the members of the above societies. These meetings are scattered throughout the three-day . period, and should be attended since...they will give the newcomer an in valuable lift in entering into Col lege life. Uniforms will be. issued to the men in the basement of Mac- Allister Hall at designated times. All freshmen will be required to take - the physical examination given by the College Health Ser vice as part of the admisison re quirements. Women will be ex amined in White' Hall, the men in the Dispensary in Old Main. Changes in the schedule in the Freshman Week booklet have been necessitated by the increas ed enrollment. These revisions will be found on another page of • the Daily Collegian. All freshman not scheduled for another meeting at 11 o"clock on Monday, Tuesday, and Wed nesday will assemble in the Audi- • torium for instruction and prac -tice in singing and cheering.
